In 2013 I started a series of works relating to the assassination of JFK. These were prompted by my viewing photographs (people and places) related to the tragic events of Nov 22, 1963. I consider this story to be one of the primary mythic American stories/events of our time. It reflects many of the characteristic qualities embedded in our American culture and history. The urgency and impact of these photographs on my imagination continues to engage me in an ongoing pictorial exploration of both the formal challenges of image making and the imaginative potential of the subject matter.
